AGImpulse : transferring knowledge to students through experience

50105010a1

We talk about the higher education quality in India. On an average only 30% of engineering grads in India are employable. We accept that there is a lack of practical knowledge in engineering curriculum.

What can be done to make a fresher employable in the industry?

Can we change the curriculum? Can we change the entire faculty base? – Are you kidding!!!

The best we can do is impart better training among them may be via external medium. On similar lines of though Mr. Gourav Tiwari started AGImpulse. Techaloo got an opportunity to have a chit chat with him.

Here we are presenting a snippet of the same.

Techaloo: When did you start your journey?
We started our journey of AGImpulse in August, 2013 started, but officially in November 2013 we got recognition as a private limited company.

Techaloo: Where are you based out of?
Head office in Bangalore, having working office in Delhi, Agra, Chennai.

Techaloo: What motivated you to start AGImpulse?

As each and every final year student of a professional course, I faced the issues like how to perform well in campus interviews, where to get final year project from etc.
These problems basically motivated me to look for a solution and the result is AGImpulse.

Techaloo: What was your vision/mission while starting AGImpulse?
VISION: To be the most competent & complete value added education partners to our clients and be the most admired technical education provider in our chosen market.

Mission: To encourage students to strive hard by devoting energy and time, there by climb ladder of success.

Techaloo: What hurdles did you face while starting?
The biggest hurdle was getting fund for setup everything, but we managed it by getting few colleges for training and using same amount for our other services.

Techaloo: Tell us something about your services.
We are into:

  • Campus Training (Placement Training). : Training final year or pre-final year students with all placements part like mathematics (aptitude, data analysis), soft skills, CV making, group discussion etc.

  • Corporate Training. : Inspiring leadership excellence & dynamic communication
    • Optimizing managerial effectiveness
  • Enhancing team building and time management skills
  • We work with our clients to develop customized training modules
  • Final Year Academic Project. : Projects are intended to perform as a link between imaginary learning and realistic execution. Working in Project gives the much needed hands on knowledge, judges your eligibility to document and present, and a chance to work in team just similar to how it happens at Corporate. It should serve as a stepping stone earlier than one embarks on a corporate profession. But miserably that is not how it works now-a-days. Projects are measured just as a procedure before getting the Degree Certificate. We at AGIMPULSE are strong-minded to make a change. We are confident you would be thankful for this transform.

Techaloo: How are you different from your competitors in various segments?
We are a team of young energetic people, we know very well what is lacking, and we train students exactly in a way they want to be trained. This is our USP of designing or customizing our module for students by students. In nut shell we have a fixed procedure for finding students’ desire.

Techaloo: Why should a student choose your services?
Because we are the only company to help the student on/off campus job. In our project part we help students to make project in software / embedded by themselves, we just mentor them.

Techaloo: Why should a college choose your services?
We are economically best in our market and also provide Placement with training which is our USP.

Techaloo: How is the response till now?
It was WOW, had some bad phases but came out of it in a more energetic and positive way. Being a startup many big organizations were susceptible of giving projects to us, but our demo classes made it easy for them to select us.

Techaloo: What about the support from your family while starting?
It was always very positive; they always stand to my decision. I always use to get ideas from my family and dear ones in how to move ahead.

Techaloo: What are your plans for next 3 years?
We are looking to have our offices @ pan India and abroad, to cater more students and make them industry ready.

Techaloo: What will be your advice for budding entrepreneurs?
Believe in yourself. Never think that in starting you didn’t get business so this is not worth of doing, think twice before letting in, and once you are on board don’t give up.

Techaloo: What do you think about techaloo.com?
A coolest place to read about all startups, path of their experiences, connecting mass in a healthy way. Well going guys !!
