Techaloo : How many language options do you have for translation?
Currently we covers 60 languages.

Techaloo : You have power of 10000+ translators, How did you build it?
Try to reach translators by using advertisement, emails, social media, & etc.

Techaloo : How can a business use social media apart from marketing?
Mainly recruiting.

Techaloo : Tell us something about Conyac API?
If you integrate Conyac API into your website, you can order translation directory from your website.

Techaloo : How do you differentiate yourself from Gengo, OneHourTranslation and other startups working in same field?
The biggest difference is the price range and the translators’ system. We are focusing on how to build up translators community and evaluation system.

Techaloo : You have got funding from Skylight Consulting, Samurai Incubate, United and ANRI. What do they generally see in a startup?
They usually give us advices mainly on management. As they have large network, they introduce us new clients and companies.

Techaloo : You are based out of Tokyo and opened a office in San Francisco; are you planning to expand more in near future?
Yes, we are planning to open our branch in Singapore and more in the future.

Techaloo : What are your plans for next 3 years?
We are thinking to expand our service worldwide. However, for the next 6 month, we are focusing on getting more and more clients in Japan. Our target in 3 years is to gather 300,000 translators and 100,000 clients worldwide.

Techaloo : What will be your advice for budding entrepreneurs?
I’m not still in the position to give some advices to other entrepreneurs, but all I can say for now is “work hard and enjoy running a business.”
