Does a B-Degree promote Entrepreneurship??

Generally when we talk about entrepreneurship in colleges, few geeks suggest that a management degree is very much essential for opening a startup.

But a recent news in Business Standard denies this suggestion.

This report says that in recent years, there is a very big downfall in the startups from MBA colleges in India. Even the top B-School are failed to promote entrepreneurship.

According to the authorities at renowned B-School , the reason is a tremendous downfall in world economy.
Do you agree with this??

In Indian Institute of Management(IIM-A) only 6 students opted for entrepreneurship , which is less than the last year.
Similarly IIM-B promoted only 8 entrepreneurships, last year this number was 16.
Surprisingly IIM-C and XLRI only produced one entrepreneur each…..

The number of entrepreneurs from Indian Engineering and Other Trade colleges is far more than these so called “Entrepreneurship Development Centers”.
