In-Open..a technological education startup

In India we observe that computer literacy rate is very low in India(obviously I am not talking about surfing the internet!!!)
We don’t get the knowledge of computers like programming languages etc. at early age. It may that because they are very tough to be learned in the traditional age as that age.
But what if we can learn during playing??
What if we can learn programming languages in visual mode than text books??

You will be agree with us that this approach will change the scenario completely.

When we generally try to learn any computer application , we try to acquire skills but not the conceptual learning. And in present world new applications are coming with new features.In-open’s computer masti program is something different. It aims at developing concept not the skills.

The syllabus of Computer-masti has been downloaded in more than 100 countries. CM Books have been translated into 8 Indian languages and 2 foreign languages. The story of CM creations can be seen in the video.

Their future plan is to translate this course in all foreign languages and to develop fully webbased syllabus.

This venture is incubated at SINE, IIT Bombay. It was founded by Mr. Rupesh Shah (Graduate from IIT Bombay) and Prof. Sridhar Iyer(IIT Bombay) in 2009.Since then it has trained more than 2,50,000 students across 75 schools.
