Techaloo:When did you start and what/who inspired you to start

Vivek: We started working on this concept in 2010 and could implement in mid 2011 actually, the idea came in fluke while having snacks as the snacks were served on piece of newspaper obituary column page we felt bit disturbed and these thought “cant these be presented in some more respectable and presentable manner which also stays forever and can be accessed globally and be remembered and shared?” these questions made us go about this noble cause.

Techaloo: When did you start Were you people still in college back then or your courses were over?

Vivek: We were working professionals when the idea struck our minds and we immediately left the job and started working on the concept.

Techaloo: What was seed capital? How did you manage that?

Vivek: It was self funded and still it is a self funded venture, however now we are open to raise funds from interested angels and VCs in order to expand.

Techaloo: What are the challenges you faced in establishing your company?

Vivek: Lack of experience being first generation entrepreneurs we faced all the challenges and difficulties one may face.

Techaloo: How much satisfied you are with your journey so far? What are your future plans?

Vivek: It’s been an exciting journey as far, future plans are simple. To make this service a national brand and showcase this on national scale.

Techaloo: Your break even track record is impressive. I am impressed. As your employee/team member what you look for in them?

Vivek: We believe in openness one can share silliest of the ideas we listen to them and try to implement whenever possible no matter has it come from some employees, freelancer or any of the sales agencies or the customer.

Techaloo: What is your response to the notion  “Indian   ecosystem   does   not   encourage entrepreneurs?”

Vivek: Mixed reactions on that. Agreed that it does not encourage but time is changing this too will change and We believe one should not rely on circumstances, policies, government support etc. if you have it in you, go for it do not expect any kind of support from anyone be it environmental or govt support. One should believe in the philosophy/ quote by Napoleon who said “Circumstances, what circumstances? I make circumstances.”

Techaloo: In your opinion what is better, starting the company of your dream right after college or joining an already established company before to get some experience?

Vivek: We are of an opinion to get hands on experience by working couple of years with some companies and get experience of how things move, how departments functions and then start on your own.

Techaloo: What suggestion you will give to aspiring entrepreneurs?

Vivek: Being new and first generation entrepreneurs we can’t suggest aspirants the only tip we can share is you got to have lot of passion and patience. Passion to deliver come what may and patience to see through the tough time you will face in this journey of entrepreneurship. Yes, it does offer good money and fame but it’s not bed of roses.
