Mech Junction is an unique and efficient platform for mechanical engineers.Mechjunction is a small group of enthusiastic mechanical engineers with similar ideas and common aim of developing and promoting mechanical engineering world. With mechanical engineering domain as the bird’s eye, they are striving very hard to build up a platform, where they will be able to provide each and every essentials of mechanical engineering scholars to them.

Let see what he wants to share with us.

Techaloo: What was your vision/mission while starting mechjunction?
Being a mechanical engineer, I had faced many problems during my student life. I had to search here and there for getting my educational requirements fulfilled. Hence I thought to start a platform for mechanical engineers where we could furnish all of their needs at single platform. That’s how Mechjunction was started. I am looking forward to set up R&D Centre and Publishing unit in the same domain in coming days.
Techaloo: How did this idea come to your mind?
LOGO(2)Necessity is the mother of invention. During my student life, I always wished if there was any organization which could have provided all the relevant essentials at single platform. But unluckily I couldn’t find any. Hence I planned to deliver it to the world what I couldn’t get when I needed.

Techaloo: Have you got any kind of funding?
We started it with our day to day saving, however later we got funded from International Centre for Entrepreneurship and Technology (icreate) for developing innovative projects, which we are trying to sell under subsidiary of Mechjunction.

Techaloo: What hurdle did you face while starting?
Getting first client is always a tough task for the startups. It took 8 month time for us to get our first business deal after launching up our startup.

Techaloo: Tell us something about your services?
‘MECHJUNCTION’ works with an intense vision of helping mechanical engineering students and professionals in best possible ways. We are trying to create a platform where any needy from mechanical engineering domain, can get their requirements fulfilled. We provide job portal, Industrial trainings, skill development programs, online magazine etc. We are looking forward to launch book publication in coming days.

Techaloo: How many colleges have you covered till date?
We have shown our presence in more than 10 colleges including IIT Bombay, VIT University, MIT Chennai, GBU Noida etc.

Techaloo: How are you different from your competitors?
We don’t have any direct competitor in the market as I said we are unique in the business. However we have some indirect competitors. But our versatility is taking us ahead from them with accelerated growth rate.

Techaloo: How is the response till now?
The response is very supportive and we have got many business deals lined up in a row. But the best is yet to come.

Techaloo: How does it feel to be a “Student Entrepreneur”?
It always feels awesome to be independent. I had my own dreams and it feels good to work for them.

Techaloo: How did you manage your studies and startup together?
I was always very meticulous with my life routine. I had assigned time slots to different kinds of work, i.e. studies, entrepreneurship and writing. I did manage everything accordingly. That’s how I did pass the engineering with decent CGPA, founded up and ran my organization with recognizable output and published my first book through Canadian publishers. All these things I managed together in the college life.

Techaloo: Tell us something about your journey at “EXPERTSHUB”.
I lost 86 thousand to a friend who cheated on my trust. This happened while I was in first year of my graduation. I didn’t let my parents know about it and started working in a startup EXPERTSHUB as Business Development Manager. I worked for an year and earned both money as well as experience through the organization.
Techaloo: What was the response from your family while starting?
My family had always supported me wherever I needed them. The mental and economical support was always there from them wherever I needed. My parents always inspired me to do something unique out of the crowd.

Techaloo: Do you want to share any experience good or bad with us?
I have been cheated many times in my life. But then all those cheaters have made me smarter and wiser than even before. That’s why I pay little credits of my success to them.

Techaloo: What are your plans for next 3 years?
I am planning for launching up another startup in production sector. Beside this I am looking forward to set up an NGO and publish some books of mine.
Techaloo: Share some info about your co-founders at mechjunction.
The co-founders alongwith me are Abhinav Kishore and Harsh Vardhan. Both are mechanical engineers, Abhinav being ex-VITian whereas Harsh passed out from Punjab Technical University. Harsh works as CFO and Abhinav is COO of the organization.

Techaloo: What message do you want to give to an aspiring entrepreneur?
“Don’t think much about the consequences, Just start up! Either you win or lose, you are going to achieve something positive in both the cases. Don’t wait to get the perfection before you start. If you do so, you are late in this world. Just start up and keep on running until and unless it becomes the perfect one”.

Techaloo: What do you think about
Techaloo is a unique platform for the entrepreneurs to encourage and get encouraged. It will definitely extend the width and breadth of entrepreneurship. I keep on checking the articles published by Techaloo and really love reading them out.
