“The Entrepreneurs who can sense the need now are those who innovate for tomorrow”

The quote is truly justified by Jagat Singh, who happened to be standing on the highway with a wrecked bike realizing the need of a helpline that can help the people in pain stuck at odd places having odd problems with their vehicles. That’s when the idea for puncturewala.com came in.

Puncturewala.com aims at helping the people in need by giving the contact details of the nearest service centers or shops or even the local ones to those who are stuck with vehicle issues on odd roads through a Free Mobile App.

He admits that covering a huge city like Mumbai where you’ve no information about the Puncture Walas was very difficult to start with. He of course couldn’t charge the Puncture Walas for such service nor can he charge for the application; that not being the trend. Hence bearing the cost himself he took a bank loan of Rs.5,00,000/- to fund his own idea under Ample Services.

He initially thought of opening a call center providing 24×7 services to the user but later he shifted towards the mobile app idea, that being cost effective and handy as well. He with a small team of free lancers collects the appropriate data and consolidates for the application.

The idea being in an initial stage has 100+ users, but he believes that following the need of such services, it will soon grow in 4-5 digits in a year. He is now targeting more cities with the idea of expansion and also planning to provide the best deals from the market to the customer which are not available on any online store.

Jagat, a User Experience Analyst by profession, was born and brought up in Mumbai; after completing his graduation in commerce he started learning IT related technologies along with an Entrepreneur course from SP Jain Management Institute, Mumbai where he learned a lot and started thinking towards launching his own firm, with the current trend of start ups.

When today’s generation is looking for quick success tricks, he says that people need to understand that you’ve to struggle hard for success and learn from mistakes of others before you think of Entrepreneurship and have dedication towards the same. And if you feel that your product/service is really needed in the market, every day is a good day to start.

Being on the track of struggle and achievements, he has a very simple belief,

“More than polishing the idea, it’s important to plan for the effective execution”.
