Ngo Fuel….a social entrepreneurship…great idea


In India there are a lot of NGOs…For some NGOs social service is a tool to earn.
The problem with real NGOs is that they have no diplomatic mind behind them ,hence they can’t get publicity of the level what they deserve and in due course of time due to lack of funds or any other resources they vanishes.

NGO Fuel is a business idea targeting to help such NGOs. It is a team of enthusiast engineering students who are providing Solutions to NGOs to cater their needs at very nominal costs.

NGO fuel was founded by “Apurva Agarwal”, “Saswata De” and “Aditi Agarwal”…this team consists of students only.Presently it is being headed by Ritika Gupta.They have a new team structure in place wherein they are using a core team to back up their crowd sourcing model.

In today’s e-world web is a source of everything , a large amount of publicity is done through web. In this era these tools are very essential.

NGO fuel was associated with Eureka-2011 , an international B-Plan competition organized by IIT-Bombay as social media partner.
NGO fuel was a part of Genesis-2012, organized by C-TIDES, the entrepreneurship cell of IIT Madras.
ngoFuel has also been covered by various online and offline media, blogs and forums. It was also featured in the Top 30 student start-ups of India, a showcase organized by the National Entrepreneurship Network (NEN). Some other laurels to their credit include being selected as one of the top six start-ups by Spring Board Ventures Boot-camp, wherein NGO Fuel acquired the maximum votes. Their business plan was among the top 10, SRCC B-plan competition. Recognizing our sincere efforts, we were recently showcased in the HT MINT newspaper and Hindustan

Mohit Bansal(23) is B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad, India. He has interest in business and entrepreneurship and has published couple of research articles. He is also associated with various NGOs. He is with Techaloo when it was just in concept stage. The Techaloo site was not existing even then. Currently Mohit is working with Mu Sigma as a Business Analyst Profile.
