Now the government is providing training to the budding entrepreneurs…

The state owned National Small Industries Corporation Limited(NSIC) does believe that to overcome the problem of unemployment in a country like India these kinds of training programs are necessity of time.

NSIC with its Training-cum-incubation-Centres(TICS) are helping to create the young entrepreneurs and also creating more employability skills among job seekers.

NSIC along with its TICS provided a series of video lectures for this purpose.

The video lectures can be assessed at this link
In the video series they have provided good lectures on “How to become an entrepreneur??” and “SME and MSME ”

Along with this the “Rapid incubation” of NSIC is very popular among youth. this program entails training an unemployed youth for 3-6 months to help him/her turn into an entrepreneur.

The selection for this program is through advanced screening process including interest and aptitude.
NSIC has project portfolio of 200.

Once selected for training, the candidate have to go through practical training in simulated conditions wherein they work in industrial plants and with equipment they may have to use if they set up units using similar facility.

this program started last year, has helped to start 300 new units.
they have more than 45 training centres and provided training to 2000 youths

Along with the youngsters , more and more institutes are showing a very good interest in the program.

To conduct the program and to maintain uniformity in all TCIs an E-learning centre at Okhla, New Delhi is started. Which can connect all NSIC-TICs to receive training module electronically.
