TURN8 Startup Accelerator Visits India to Select Startups for its Program

TURN8, A Dubai based seed accelerator scouting for the best idea stage startups across the globe for its next round of acceleration program is making a stop in Bangalore.
Innov-a-thon is the startup idea pitching competition for TURN8. It is scheduled to happen in Bangalore on 11th of January 2015 at the 10000 Startups Warehouse in the city. The competition is sponsored by Nasscom  10000  Startups  and  organized  by  TURN8  seed  accelerator  in  association  with  KarmaSnap  in Bangalore.

At Innov-a-thon, TURN8 is looking for entrepreneurs with startups that are at an idea stage and beyond. They are seeking innovative solutions, business models and/or technology ideas that can be developed in a 120-day seed accelerator in Dubai, UAE. The event will involve entrepreneurs pitching their startup idea to the panel followed by a Q&A session. Upon the completion of the initial pitch, teams are allowed to
break out with mentors and work together to create and present the final pitch. The startup ideas selected during Innov-a-thon will have a chance to be part of TURN8’s upcoming batch for acceleration with seed funding in Dubai.

“Being part of TURN8 accelerator program was a great experience for our team. It helped us get clarity about what our business should be about, helping us refine our business plan and offerings to add more value  to  our  company  and  customers”  says  Gautham  from  KarmaSnap,  which  is  one  of  the  teams accelerated by TURN8 in their previous rounds.
