www.letstalkbooks.in ..online book rental service..

Have you ever faced this problem??

“You wanted to read some book, but due to your pocket limitations you couldn’t???”

All of us must have faced this problem at least once in life. What if you are able to read a book for rs. 20 only???
It’s great to imagine…

Khitish Kakkar, first-year MBA student at K.J.Somaiya Institute Of Mgmt Studies and Research (SIMSR), started an online circulating library called www.letstalkbooks.in last september. Khitish kakar a resident of Jaipur ,came up with this unique idea of book renting.

He realized that pupil wants to read books for knoledge, fun, enjoyment etc. but they don’t have so much monetary freedom to purchase a book which costs thousand or more. One option is Second Hand Book stores, but are they really cheap???

A typical second hand book store charges 40% of the book’s MRP.

Business Idea of letstalkbooks.in??

Khitish has a collection of around 500 books , in a large no. of categories starting from fiction, classics, business etc to mythology and philosophy.
Khitish’s business is presently in the college campus itself.
He charges Rs. 20 for a period of 10 days per book, but outside students have to deposit Rs. 200 as a security money and have to pay 50 Rs as a rent.
His plan is to increase the book titles to more than 1000 in a year time.
He is also planning to bring a hangout platform at letstalkbooks.in website, where all the book lovers, critics etc. can talk together. He wants to make this website a destination for every reader. If you are confused about the book’s content then there is a good place for you “Book Review” at this website.
Though presently this is based in college campus of K.J.Somaiya Institute Of Mgmt Studies and Research, Bombay. But they have large expansion plans in this regard.
